Tom and I have been talking about a second dog for a long time. The timing wasn't right and then the room wasn't right. When we first bought this new place we had decided a little after we would get a second dog. We moved in and everything was great. Sasha started showing signs of depression. We talked about a recovery dog but of course alot of those aren't good with kids or other dogs. We then decided a puppy would be the way to go. I am home all the time and my day is planned around my walks and play time, so thought it would be a good time. This way if after Christmas I need to return to work or anything the puppy would be well adjusted and ready to be left alone with Sasha!!
So then came Lacey!! She is a black lab/husky. She is very content with doing her own thing, and loves to chase the kids around the yard! We already are on the leash and doing pretty good. She loves to run so of course I have taken up doing that too, while pushing a buggy :)
She is a happy and healthy 8 week old tomorrow! We are happy we got her. Will keep you posted!
